Basilur’s Artisan Collection is a treasure trove of rare, exceptional Ceylon teas, meticulously curated to represent the pinnacle of quality and exclusivity. Each tea in this collection weaves a unique story, nurtured by the expert hands that tend to every tea bush in the serene landscapes of Sri Lanka. Handpicked from select estates, these teas embody the true artistry of tea cultivation.

Ceylon Nobilis is sourced from the pristine region of Nuwara Eliya. The unique flavor of this single-estate tea is a result of the unique ago-climatic condition of the region. The high elevation, cool climate, and humid environment produce the perfect conditions for the tea plant to thrive. This premium tea is only harvested once a year, just prior to the monsoon season which results in a tea with complex layers of flavors.

Tasting Notes
Nuwara Eliya single estate tea is best enjoyed straight since the flavours intensify as the brewed tea cools. The result is a tea with musky-sweet tasting notes similar to muscat wine. It can also possess delicate vegetal, mossy, fruity, and citrus flavours produced in high-grown Nuwara Eliya tea.
